A Special Note on Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

While Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has been around since the 1980s and popularized by Gary Craig, it is a newer methodology to the Boston area.   Deepak Chopra, MD, holistic and alternative medicine leader and TIME  magazine Top 100 heroes and icons of the century, stated in a mental health conference sponsored by Harvard Medical School in 2009, that the Energy Psychologies, of which EFT is one, will be the next big area of practice.    EFT is a wonderful energy psychology method which uses acupressure points that one “taps on” to quickly eliminate uncomfortable emotions and limiting beliefs about oneself and the world.  By removing these barriers, people can feel freer to move forward towards their passions and best self.   EFT has been used in an extremely wide range of applications – for stress relief, performance anxiety such as public speaking and test taking, phobias, anxiety, trauma and weight loss, to name just a few areas.    I encourage people to “Google” EFT and also Carol Look, EFT Master.
